Angelyn “Angie” was born and raised in the Philippines. She was a gentle and charming young woman. She was Nira Ronen’s caregiver and companion and a special, warm friendship formed between the two.
She was characterized by the Bible and rosary she carried with her, a testament to her faith in God. She was selfless, good-hearted, humble, and always happy.
Angie’s sister described the circumstances of Angie’s death: “On October 9th, I received a call from Nitzan, one of Nira Ronen’s daughters. Nitzan informed me that Nira and Angie were found dead in their shelter. Angie was a hero for not abandoning her employer, even at the cost of her own life”.
Angie is survived by her husband, Nicholas Torre, and her other family among them, her sister.
