He worked as a manager at Tali Grapes and was beloved.
Aviad was on the roof when he saw the terrorists enter through the fence.
He went to his room, but the door of his safe room wasn’t working, so he informed his sister that he was heading to the safe room of the late Alon Shamriz.
Aviad managed to notify the kibbutz that Alon had been kidnapped. He was hiding under the bed when Alon was taken.
When he came out to close the door of the safe room, he was spotted. They shot at the door and the bullets penetrated. He was murdered on the lawn in front of Alon's house.
At 11 o'clock he was still speaking with his father, telling him that everything was fine because he knew, otherwise, his father would come to the kibbutz to find him.
Aviad was a man of peace and joy. Always with a smile on his face.
