Aviv Kutz

53 years old at the time of his death
20.4.1970-7.10.2023

"Part of a complete, warm and loving family."

Aviv was born and raised in Kfar Aza, a sweet boy with rolling laughter, a vivid imagination and an ability to make others laugh along with him. A man of values, a people person, magnetic and friendly, patient and forgiving, loved by all those around him. A supportive, loving spouse to Livnat and a wonderful, devoted father to Rotem, Yonatan and Yiftach. Aviv had a strong connection to his home and to his community, contributing to it in every possible creative way. He initiated the Kites for Freedom festival, a festival for peace, and led the effort to build Kfar Aza’s path of historical signs. He also uncovered a creative artist within himself, with a talent for photography and metal sculpting. He was an intellectual, a deep thinker, a sports fan who loved poetry and history. On the morning of October 7th, he was murdered along with his entire family, at the safe room in their home, trying to protect them with his last embrace.
