Itay was born on September 7, 1993, in the Jerusalem Hills, the eldest of 4 boys.
A good son to proud parents, an admirable big brother, friendly, a true friend, a devoted father and a loving partner to Hadar.
Itay finished his military service with honors as a company commander in Golani brigade’s 13th battalion. His soldiers say that he was tough when needed, but caring and warm when possible – and he did it all with a smile.
Itay finished his Electrical Engineering degree, and was supposed to start working as an engineer in the Israel Electric Corporation on October 8.
Throughout his life, Itay was a talented athlete. He mostly played basketball, and in recent years also trained and competed in Crossfit.
Itay followed his beloved Hadar to Kfar Aza.
Itay was brutally murdered in his home in Kfar Aza, while trying to protect his sons.
Itay left behind two twin boys, and a sad and traumatized family.
