He was married to Chen, and together they had four children: Yam 20, Agam 18, Gal 11, and Tal 9.
An economist by profession, he was the CEO of Kafrit Israel, a plastics company which was born in Kfar Aza, and in recent years he served as the Vice President of Business Development, Innovation, and Sustainability. He was regarded as brilliant and highly respected by research institutes both in Israel and around the world in the field of plastics. With humility and professionalism, he guided students, mentored and coached struggling youth, volunteered with the “Aharai” association, and was very involved in the community life of Kibbutz Kfar Aza, especially in the fields of education and economy.
A triathlete and a passionate sportsman in every fiber of his being, he was the national champion in the Half Ironman competition in April 2022 in the 44-49 age group.
On July 26, 2023, he was hit by a truck while riding his bike.
Severely injured, he was hospitalized, and the first words when he opened his eyes after the first surgery, he made a "V" sign with his fingers and said, "Hope dies last."
Through gritted teeth and immense pain, he began home rehabilitation, and on the evening of Rosh Hashanah 2023, he walked into his house for the first time after three months of recovery, without a walker. Ten days later, on the eve of Simchat Torah, on the Black Saturday of October 7, 2023, Nadav and his eldest daughter Yam were murdered in the bomb shelter of their home at 11:30 AM. Chen, Agam, Gal, and Tal were kidnapped to Gaza until they were released after 51 days of captivity.
