Yonatan is Aviv and Livnat’s second son, a brother to Rotem and Yiftach. Yonatan was born and raised in Kfar Aza, a humorous, mischievous boy, sensitive and gentle, brilliant and bright, modest, friendly and always willing to help. He began his studies at Shaar HaNegev, and considered himself an athlete from a young age. He played soccer, and then basketball which became his lifelong passion. In order to further his dream of becoming a professional basketball player, he moved to HaKfar HaYarok boarding school, where he played for the youth club team of Hapoel Tel-Aviv. He excelled thanks to both his talent and great motivation, and many predicted a bright future for him on the field. On October 7th, Yonatan was murdered along with the entire Kutz family. They were shot dead while holding each other, in the safe room of their home.
