Yuval Salomon

29 years old at the time of his death
6.10.1994-7.10.2023

"His life's song stopped mid-bar, a fine young man forever gone"

He was the youngest child in his family; A beloved, sweet and mischievous boy.
After graduating from “Sha’ar HaNegev” high school, Yuval enlisted at the age of 18 to join the Nahal Brigade (Topaz Reconnaissance Battalion - 934th). He served in the Palnat/Orev, which is the anti-tank company.
Yuval didn’t always have it easy - he didn’t necessarily feel that he “fit the mold” in places like school - but nevertheless, he finished his military service successfully, thanks to his commanders and loving friends. After his release he worked at Sincopa, a sound and lighting company based in Kfar Aza. He then moved on to his next role, managing staff and logistics for the Caesar Events company which quickly became like a second home to him.
Yuval loved enjoying life and the finer things it has to offer – top-shelf alcohol, prime cuts, great music. He would go out as much as he could and was a sports enthusiast, whether it was his favorite soccer team Maccabi Haifa or other sports like basketball, tennis and snooker.
A kindhearted and supportive person, Yuval loved helping his many friends and put on parties and events for them frequently. His 29th birthday party was the last party he would ever throw. He didn’t typically like celebrating his birthday, not even at home. This year, something made him want to celebrate with all of his friends. A huge number of friends came to celebrate Yuval’s birthday which, in the end, became his farewell party.
Yuval was a loving and beloved family man, raising all of his nieces and nephews and helping them with whatever they needed. He was extremely close to his brother Tamir, supporting him through thick and thin.
On that awful, Black Saturday, Yuval fought bravely and continued on, despite the injuries he sustained. He pled for help but it, unfortunately, never arrived. After fighting one last battle with the terrorists, Yuval was murdered. He was found by his doorstep with the Israeli flag wrapping him. We will forever miss him and cherish our memories and time together.
Our beautiful Yuval will forever remain 29.
Love, your family.
